RESORT WORLD SENTOSA – BIDDER EVALUATION
In 2009, ECS was retained by the Singapore Tourism Board to evaluate the proposals submitted by bidders interested in developing the much anticipated integrated resort, which included the second casino license for the country. We developed an economic model for evaluating all of the pertinent parameters of each bid. Our analysis identified Genting Resorts as the best bid and they were ultimately chosen to develop the resort.
The bidder analysis considered the following parameters:
Attendance and Revenue Estimates.
Overall Concept and Offering.
Hotel/Casino Concept and Estimates.
Bidders Qualifications and Track Record.
Development Cost Estimates.
Site Usage.
